If I could ask for a global New Year’s resolution it would be for all of us to start questioning everything. Even if we don’t like it, it’s a fact that we create the world, and society through every small shopping decision we make. Let’s take advantage of that to show what we believe in, or mostly what we don’t believe in. There’s no point on being frustrated by all social and environmental problems that surround us while eating some @nestle product. Let’s all shop responsibly and not as a trivial or futil act. Shop less, and better, and local. Value craftsmanship more than anything. “Don’t ask yourself why something is so expensive, ask yourself why it’s so cheap”. And why would you buy online something that you could get at your own city or even walking distance? Let’s push for those people with an influence, specially with teenagers, to start talking about some important subjects, not just selling t-shirts and sneakers. This is not the ‘90s anymore and we can’t keep living in indifference or ignorance. And let’s make this 2018 the year on which @amazon, @zara, @hm and a long list can start going back to where they came from, hell. You don’t need them, they need you. We are not important, nature is. And there’s no planet B.
