**********

How did you get started?

“I started making jewelry about 4 years ago just to give as gifts. One holiday season, I took about 25 orders via Instagram and decided to make my hobby into a passion project.”

What is the inspiration for the brand name?

“901 comes from my old mentor. It was our street address. I continued to use the number and I moved on to other things. To me it symbolizes taking what I’ve learned and applying it to the next part of my life and also remembering where I came from. 901 is coincidentally my Apt. number as well, which is where I make all my jewelry. 😀 ”

What was the biggest hurdle you had to overcome to get started?

“Adapting to a ‘no excuses’ mentality when juggling between my fast paced full time job and making jewelry”

What was that “Just Do It” moment for you to get started?

“Last October (2015) I launched my website, fulfilled my first 2 wholesale orders and sold out my first show. It really showed me how dedicated I am to making this happen.
