Soo grateful to @create.and.gather for capturing many images like this one. They came into my home as strangers & left as friends. Adore them!

I’m getting sooo pumped about my kit for @thecraftersbox. I cannot wait to see what you create! The opportunities are endless, really, with the different directions you can take your piece. I’ve been approached many times to do workshops and it hasn’t been an interest of mine. It’s just not for me — at least at this time in my life. But, I found very quickly that @thecraftersbox is the perfect avenue for me to share my creativity with you, from the comfort of your own home. The team behind @thecraftersbox does such a stellar job, I see this being the only avenue in which I share a bit of what I do with you. They’ve made it too easy and beautiful! So jump in on this before the 20th! It’s your last chance to get your hands on a curated box of tools and supplies + a whole video of me sharing the step-by-step and tricks on making your own kinetic sculpture. ++ a maker chat and a place to ask questions when you’re in the midst of making your piece. It’s a no-brainer dudes.

Thank you for the kind response to @thecraftersbox news. I’m elated to work with them! If you’ve been curious about seeing a glimpse into my process and getting your own hands on some metal and snips, signups end feb 20th. Also, the podcast episode of Morgan & I chatting about what’s in the box, as well as bits about my own practice, is up! Find all the details over here: @thecraftersbox ○ ⌣⌓ △ ∩

So excited to finally share this: @thecraftersbox and I worked together to create a teachable version of one of my mobile styles! The box includes all of the materials, as well as a step-by-step video of me teaching you! Check out the link in their profile for deets: @thecraftersbox

“A great light” For as far back as I can remember I’ve had this fascination with light, so it seems pretty kismet that I would be drawn to a medium that warmly reflects it. Naturally, the titles of each piece emulate this fascination.

It’s a special moment - it’s like magic - when the balance of a mobile clicks. I’m addicted folks.

Yesterday felt like pure spring in Northern California. All about it!

love love love our sweet friends @thesmall_savagewild. We currently use one of their shelfs as the perfect plant stand in our home and they own this one-off wall hanging of mine to the right. @westcoastcraft brought us together two years ago — just another reason why I adore WCC. Speaking of, mark your calendars for June 9+10 - I’ll be returning to show and sell my work!

Unfinished mobile with brass shapes yet to be filed, sanded and coated. Referring to the rest of the photos, I’ve always loved seeing the person and more of their lives behind the art, so I’m committed to doing more of that around here; We’re back from a quick Southern California trip for a sweet friend’s baby shower and Harp’s first Disney trip. It was one for the books. I don’t care what you say about Disneyland, that place is straight up magic! I did find it interesting, though, that my little fam and I were most drawn to the things in the park that most mimicked nature. Can we talk about how much Cars Land actually looks like southern Utah’s red wonderland? After many years of being away, it was fun for my husband and I to go back with more of a creative lens — that actual people thought up, welded and painted every aspect of the park. It was a trip to think about. Our curious minds were on overdrive; “but how did they do that?!”

Been thinking a ton about resiliency. And showing up even when it’s hard and I’m a little scared or don’t feel prepared. I took what is commonly referred to as a selfie — but I like to think of it as me simply in the frame (ha!) — to capture my face in this fruitful season of trying to show up. An ebenezer stone for later, if you will. It’s a season of trusting God and of growth. In myself, in relationships, in business. And I want to remember it. Pumped to be alive. Pumped to create.

I moved my home around (again!). Anybody else do that? It’s an every-couple-of-months thang for me, it seems. We’re in a new season as a family and it was time for a switch-up.

Stoked for the @cravenhomestead home and the addition of their bébé boy! Love seeing snippets of their babe’s room.

Spaces I imagine my mobiles suspended pt. 2; the lovely home of @calivintage. The texture, the plants, the simplicity, oh my!

So grateful for this lady’s time, talent and heart: @ashleymaxwellphoto. She just spent three hours with me, styling and re-styling, with a copious amount of photos inbetween. She’s a GEM.
