Our ice cream is MADE TO MELT. How ice cream melts is everything. We’ve worked hard to get this right, building our ice creams from the ground up to melt a very specific way — thinly, cleanly — and to reveal scent and flavor slowly as it relaxes and melts. That’s why it’s THE perfect wingman for pretty much any dessert.
What’s more, we have accomplished the Herculean feat of doing all of this cleanly, without the use of gums, stabilizers, fillers … anything that gets in the way of flavor. Instead, we use the power of milk proteins to build beautiful texture and body — as smooth and luscious as buttercream and that melts perfectly into a dessert … like Honey Vanilla Bean atop this maple bourbon pecan pie from @dough_mama.
Inspired by the mythical Norwegian Yule. The anchor of our Flavors of Norway collection in late 2009. Back then, with the holidays fast approaching, Jeni watched as her friend from Norway nearly teared up recalling her love for krokan — a Scandinavian treat made with almonds and caramelized sugar (and a rumored favorite of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory author Roald Dahl). Inspired, the team crushed tray upon tray of handmade almond brittle, tucking the pieces into the folds of rich buttercream ice cream. Every bite was (and still is!) filled with golden pockets of caramel and crunch. Brown Butter Almond Brittle made its first appearance in scoop shops this week 10 holiday seasons ago … and quickly became a permanent menu fixture. One small spoonful and you’ll be hooked for life. ✨
Brambleberry // noun: A catchall term for berries that grow on the trailing vines or prickly shrubs of bramble bushes. Example: the juicy, sweet-tart, ultra-fragrant, velvety purple blackberries (grown for us by farmers we've known for years) and black currants crushed our into brambleberry jam. Best when swirled into our vanilla ice cream and brown sugar oat streusel (Jeni’s old family recipe).

Our friends at @middlewestspirits blend us a special bourbon that’s delicate and smooth (all warmth; no bite!) and made to fold perfectly into cream … enhancing our velvety and rich custard just like a complex vanilla. The finishing touch? A heavy dusting of nutmeg that blooms in the eggy cream and hits all the best notes of a traditional eggnog.
