Roasted Bone Marrow with fig balsamic, whole grain mustard, dijon mustard, pickled veggies, toast points. This was another item that we enjoyed at @MeatDistrictCo and I loved that there was chimichurri in this dish too! ๐Ÿ’š

Loaded Crispy Fingerlings with sunnyside egg, chipotle queso, and salsa taquero. Got this for brunch at @AtriumLosFeliz and they were so dangerous. ๐Ÿ˜ I usually don't ever crave potatoes but can see myself getting these again as they were a great addition with the rest of the brunch.๐Ÿ’“

14oz Dry Aged Prime Rib Eye topped with chimichurri sauce from @meatdistrictco. Great meal here, plus I love a good chimichurri sauce. Anyone else? ๐Ÿ™‹๐Ÿปโ€โ™€๏ธ

Mediterranean Branzino Filet from @NeranoBH with arugula, avocado, cherry tomatoes, Terre Bormane olive oil. Branzino is one of my favorite fishes to order and Iโ€™m happy to say this one exceeded my expectations. It was fresh, delightfully flakey, and went very well with the flavorful salmoriglio (an Italian condiment) that accompanied it.

Sichuan Beef Spicy Hot Pot.๐Ÿฒ While this may look like a typical hot pot dish, this was at the Modern Toilet Restaurant in Taipei. Yes, I went to a restaurant that had toilet and ๐Ÿ’ฉ themed everything. My hot pot was in a bowl the shape of a toilet! Was it gimmicky and ridiculous? Definitely. Was it hilarious and fun to try? The Forbidden Fruit salmon poke bowl from @MainlandPokeShop. I really enjoyed the combination of the salmon with mango and especially the heat from the chilis.๐Ÿ”ฅ This was one of the 3 new signature bowls I got to try at Mainland and I put up my experience on @eater_la stories. Loved these seared scallops that I tried at @TheNoMadHotel which came with delicata squash, coco beans, and butternut bisque. Although I typically tend to focus more on the food than the ambiance, I was taken back at how gorgeous this hotel is! It didnโ€™t hurt eating delicious food like this dish in such a gorgeous setting. Has anyone else been? Thoughts? ๐Ÿ™ƒ

Got some BBQ Pork and Roasted Goose over rice from a spot called Joy Hing while in Hong Kong. This spot is popular for their Cantonese BBQ and I can definitely see why! I was surprised at how much I enjoyed the roasted goose as that isn't something I normally have and I can attest that both the goose and the BBQ pork were excellent. I included "A Day in Hong Kong" in my Instagram stories so you can get an idea of what I ate when I was there. ๐Ÿฅก๐Ÿฅข

Crab Cakes from @BlacksmithsDTLA with roasted corn, red bell peppers, relish, avocado mousse, grilled lemon. Beautiful and very tasty with generous chunks of fresh crab meat. ๐Ÿฆ€ Iโ€™m currently in Taipei right now and Hong Kong before then, where I have been eating everything! Iโ€™ll have some delicious food pics ready for you soon. ๐Ÿ™ƒ

Coffee Rubbed American Wagyu Flat Iron with passion fruit and pearl onions from @BazaarbyJose. A fantastic dish by an amazing chef where his nonprofit's #ChefsForFeds initiative is currently feeding furloughed federal employees to support the people going without a paycheck during the partial government shutdown. Did I also mention he was nominated for the 2019 Nobel Peace Prize for his contribution in feeding Puerto Rico in the wake of Hurricane Maria? @ChefJosรฉAndrรฉs, thank you for the difference you make for humanity.

Oven Roasted Truffle Potatoes with fresh thyme and shaved parmesan from @CrossroadsKitchen. Ordered this on a whim and was pleasantly surprised when it came out. For โ€œjustโ€ being a side item, it was a stunner of a dish where the flavor was fantastic.๐Ÿ‘Œ
