Hello, I’m Stacy.
Design and creating have always been a part of my life. I’m a lifelong collector and inspired by all types of art and their respective textures – paintings, sculpture, ceramics, and even fiber. Many years ago, I started designing and creating a few handmade gifts/decor and sold them at local art fairs and retail boutiques. Many of these “little works of art” were products I couldn’t find in the baby/nursery/gift marketplace.
My most well-known product is the “Birth Year Block,” a wood keepsake block based on the Chinese Zodiac. This modern take on the zodiac features the characteristics of the baby or person born under the animal signand can be personalized for a lifetime keepsake.
In 2015, I won the 2015 Academy of Handmade Award as
“Best Maker working in the Wood Medium” category.
It was truly an honor to be nominated and selected by my fellow makers for this award.
My current product line is created in my home studio in Manhattan Beach, California.
