We always figured that this sashiko fabric would wear down in a crazy way, but here’s visual proof. @wesleycscott has been wearing his Work Jacket consistently since release and has given it one machine wash – the deep violet hue quickly gives way to a deep blue, and the sashiko stitches are starting to pop out of the base fabric. Give this jacket another few months and it’s going to look completely different. Stay tuned.

The copper never-scratch rivets on our MIJ 3sixteen+ jeans will oxidize over time, yielding that turquoise green color you sometimes see on vintage jean hardware (or old pennies). This particular pair is right around the 1.5 year mark and was dropped off for minor repairs at @selfedge NY.
